Our story began with a love for cooking and a family tradition of making food that brings people together. Inspired by recipes and flavours passed down through generations, we create pickles with the same care and attention we would give to food made for our own family.
At the heart of Primeera is a genuine love for cooking. What began in our kitchen as something made for family and friends grew into a desire to share these flavours beyond our home.
From traditional favourites to flavours with their own character, Primeera is about making pickles that feel familiar, comforting, and worth coming back to.
Because some of the best recipes don’t begin in a factory — they begin at home.
The Woman Behind Primeera
Meet my mother, the heart behind Primeera.
Her love for cooking has been a part of her life for as long as I can remember. She was deeply influenced by two special women in her life — her grandmother and her aunt, both wonderful cooks who introduced her to the joy of traditional flavours and homemade food.
Over the years, cooking became something she truly enjoyed. From everyday meals to special dishes, she has always found happiness in preparing food for the people around her. The compliments she received from family and friends only encouraged her to keep creating and experimenting in the kitchen.
Then, one day, she asked me a simple question:
“Can we start a pickle brand?”
That question marked the beginning of Primeera.
What started as a simple idea soon became an opportunity to share her recipes and her love for cooking with people beyond our home. Primeera is our attempt to bring those familiar, homemade flavours to your table, while carrying forward the influence of the women who first inspired her.
